About Us
Giddy up at Keene Ridge Farm
Keene Ridge Farm is nestled in the heart of Central Kentucky on 170 rolling acres near Keeneland off Bosworth Rd. This once successful and productive thoroughbred breeding farm was the original home of English Channel. The boarding facilities at Keene Ridge Farm began as a small, 8- stall boarding barn at the farm, primarily for close friends and family. Lovingly called the Giddy Up Barn, it began to grow. Owner, Ann Bakhaus, has always been passionate about connecting people with horses. It was this passion, coupled with her divine love for people and horses, that inspired her to make the transition from thoroughbred breeding to a full boarding farm. Keene Ridge Farm will continue to adapt and grow, adding new services and facilities. From Shires to Thoroughbreds, Paints to Palominos, Oldenburgs to Dutch Warmbloods, Keene Ridge Farm is open to all that share our values and passion for horses. We are proud to have riders of all ages, levels, and disciplines.
